Pyramid Samaira's bank accounts under IT scanner
The movie major Pyramid Samaira, after having made itself a global name to reckon with, is in the news for all the wrong reasons. And the reason is that the IT department has now attached all of Samaira's bank accounts that totals more than a whopping Rs. 240 crore, for alleged non-payment of self-assessment tax.
In a reply to this attachment, it is reportedly said that the senior officials at Pyramid Samaira have taken a stand that they will surely challenge the IT department's decision as they denied any kind of tax liability. It's also rumored that the officials in Pyramid Samaira have decided to file a case against the IT department early next week. In the meanwhile, Samaira's spokesperson said that they did not have any tax dues and that they have filed a revised return wherein they have also claimed a refund.
