There is no denying the fact that Aditya Chopra, with his trendsetting DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE, redefined the way films were being made in the mid 90s. He, in a way brought in the cosmopolitan culture and characters into focus in Bollywood, which was trying to find solace in another form of cinema, as the angry young colossus (read Bachchan) had more or less gone into a self exile!
