Subhash Ghai has been advocating it for quite a long time now, and owing to the scenario arising out of it Meera Nair has decided to shelve the plans of making Shantaram into a movie. As it is happening with other industries, the film industry also is facing a recession in terms of few footfalls into the cinema halls by the patrons. Now it is being bracketed into an expenditure, which can be preceded over by other immediate needs....
