Anurag Kashyap: Red light areas are real locations in DEV D - News

While DEV D is a success at the box office today, it is also gaining brownie points for the real life portrayal of quite a few people and places in the narrative. A vast chunk of the film is set in the red light zone of Paharganj, New Delhi, which is notorious for flesh trade and easy access to prostitutes from the West. Though one tends to believe that majority of shoot would have been held in custom-made sets, Anurag Kashyap reveals that it was just the opposite....
