Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie is fast approaching, and it’s heard all over that he’d debut as a director, finally, with that movie! There’s but one hurdle to the 150th film - the 149th movie! Who’ll direct this venture? This seems to be a big question now! Each of the directors V.V. Vinayak, Krissnavamsi, Encounter fame N. Sankar, Gunasekhar, and even the biggie Gentleman fame Shankar has announced in the last few months that one (he) is directing Chiranjeevi next! Wait, there can be only one 149th film! So, who’s directing it? Krissnavamsi and Shankar have both talked of directing Chiranjeevi in the past too, but either combo never happened yet. V.V. Vinayak and Gunasekhar have already proved their capability of delivering hits to Chiranjeevi. So, will Chiranjeevi give a chance to one of those who already proved worthy or will he provide an opportunity to one of the creative directors that expressed desire to work with him? Or, is there someone else who’d suddenly pop up to wield the megaphone? Building up a craze around 150th film is understandable, but about 149th film too… that’s the legend Chiranjeevi! Let’s cross our fingers and see which director wins the race! Who’s the real director anyway?
